This Thai restaurant strikes a harmonious balance between traditional flavors and a comfortable dining environment, making it a prime spot for both casual diners and Thai cuisine aficionados seeking authentic experiences without leaving Manila.

From the moment you step inside, the warm “sawasdee ka” greetings set a welcoming tone. The space exudes a calming atmosphere with well-thought lighting and a refreshing vertical garden corner that adds a touch of nature to the modern interior. Subtle Thai cultural nods, such as the portrait of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit, evoke an ambiance reminiscent of Bangkok’s beloved eateries.

Jatujak’s menu highlights an array of classic and crowd-pleasing Thai dishes, showcasing their culinary range. Staples like the Tom Yum Soup, rich with aromatic spices and a vibrant broth, and the Chicken Satay, tender and perfectly marinated, underscore the eatery’s commitment to authentic flavors. The standout Sticky Rice with Mango serves as a luscious, sweet finish, balancing creamy coconut milk with ripe mango slices—earning praise for its faithful nod to the traditional Thai dessert.

Vegetarian options are thoughtfully included, such as the Vegan Pad Thai Shrimp and Tofu Sate, ensuring a diverse selection. Jatujak also creatively melds Filipino-Thai fusion with dishes like the Lechon Kawali in Red Curry Sauce, offering diners familiar yet elevated tastes. Traditional sides like Papaya Salad and Shrimp Paste Fried Rice complement the mains and maintain regional authenticity.

The environment suits small groups and pairs looking for a cozy meal after mall activities or entertainment. Diners seeking a relaxed but refined setting will appreciate the clean design and subtle cultural touches that provide more than just a meal, but a brief sensory journey to Thailand.

While some dishes like the pork skewers may divide opinion due to texture and seasoning nuances, the overall food quality remains consistently solid. The Tom Yum Shrimp broth shines with its layered flavors, praised for both depth and balance, while the fried rice options, particularly the crab variety, deliver simple yet addictive comfort.

Whether you’re craving the zestful tang of a Pomelo Shrimp Salad or the sweet, smooth satisfaction of Thai milk tea, Jatujak presents these offerings within a thoughtful, inviting ambiance that encourages repeat visits. This Thai eatery is well-suited for diners who value authentic ingredients, regional cooking techniques, and a stable, welcoming dining atmosphere inside one of Manila’s busiest commercial hubs.

Dined in at Jatujak- MOA, April 19. Jatujak and Soi are the Thai restaurants located at SM Mall of Asia. I often passed by Jatujak before every time I'm at the Entertainment Area and today was my first dine in experience there. The staff greet every customer with a warm "sawasdee ka" and they were also attentive. The restaurant has a nice ambience, well-lit, and with a little vertical garden in one corner. And it's nice that they have a picture of the late King Bhumibol along with his queen Sirikit. Reminds me so much of Bangkok when we were there for a short tour back in 2017. It was Black Saturday and Holy Week was not over so I ordered yam som-o (pomelo shrimp salad) and khao niew ma muang (sticky rice with mango & coco milk). I preferred a healthy filling meal that is also not heavy in the tummy. I didn't order extra rice because the dessert was also a serving of rice and loaded with carbs already plus the luscious mango slices. The pomelo salad is sumptuous, with peanuts, greens and garnishes and the shrimps were tasty that went well with the tangy vinaigrette that balanced the strong taste of minced shallots and leeks. I might as well try the other food available on their menu on my next dine in.

Tried Jatujak in SM MOA today and overall, okay naman yung experience. The food was pretty good and the flavors were solid. Medyo na-shook lang kami kasi we found a hair on our mango sticky rice but to be fair, they replaced it right away without any hassle. Appreciate naman yung quick response nila. Still ended up enjoying the meal, so okay pa rin overall.

Thai food is well represented here at Jatujak. Everything was delicious, although the pad thai could be more flavorful. The tom yum was immaculate; its tasty broth brought my tummy to joy land. Interestingly, they also serve Filipino dishes. We ordered the pata tim, and it was cooked to perfection! Uh, until now I can imagine the taste!

We arrived at Jatujak for 2 PAX on a Tuesday right when it turned 6 PM. Throughout our 1-hour stay, it transitioned to many seats available to a sizeable amount. The interior design gave dark woodsy with a picnic blue - it was simultaneously comfy and coffeehouse cafe-y. They even had cool POP art of Thai street food vendors around the resto. The menu consists of a well organized and much appreciated conciseness laid along a long cardboard. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived in around 15 minutes. The THAI ICED MILK TEA (P140) surprisingly arrived last, but was deliciously sweet and Thai tea-like with all that you would want and expect. The MOO PING - Pork Skewers 5-6pcs (P495) on the other hand was unfortunately the ‘eh’ of the bunch. The meat was slightly gamey and tough, and didn’t really have pizzazz to it other than just being an a-okay bbq; however, I guess the small side of coconut rice was a nice complementary piece . The Sampler Appetizer was a great selection with several Fresh Vegetarian Rolls, a slight spice kicked and cute Shrimp Cake, as well as a deliciously crispy Pork Springroll (P378) and nicely textured noodle filling. I really liked the KAO PAD POO - Crab Meat Fried Rice (P365). It’s simple yet addictive to devour - just quaint, effortless excellence that anyone can truly enjoy. I’d go to Jatujak again for some seemingly authentic, well-presented and tasty Thai foods amidst good service and a nice atmosphere~

A great Thai restaurant that truly satisfies all Thai cravings. The place is cozy and comfortable, with decent service and good serving portions. I highly recommend the Pad Thai, super savory with just the right amount of sweetness. The Mango Sticky Rice is also a must-try and definitely one of the highlights on their menu!
